Alma

Alma lived her life on a chain, in Chiajna. When the Animal Police visited her owner, he chose to get rid of her rather than sterilize her or allow her to live unchained.

Alma means “soul” – we named her that because it felt like abandonment had broken her spirit. But we were wrong.

After a life with Owners, not a family, Alma was happy to be in the shelter. She ran, she played, and she quietly told us she’d like to try again – in a new home. She’s a Malinois mix, quite close to the real deal 🙂

If you can’t offer her the home she dreams of, you can still help. Through long-distance adoption, you can directly support Alma’s care – food, treatments, walks, and training that will prepare her for the family she’s waiting for. A little help from you can mean a much better life for her, day by day.
