Varta is like a Duracell battery in dog form — she simply can’t stay still.

Here she is in one of those rare (almost) quiet moments. We say “almost” because in reality, she was already plotting her next escape — darting around the shelter like a bright, slippery soap you just can’t hold on to.

Varta dreams of a human with a big yard, an even bigger heart, and, most of all, a true appetite for walks and healthy adventures. All those simple, joyful things we share with our dogs — the things we couldn’t imagine life without.
