In order to encourage responsible adoptions, we organize a monthly event called ‘Stew for all Bobiță’, in which we cook a hot meal for the over 500 puppies in the shelter, together with personalities from sports, theatre, the film world or public figures from the social life.
The event is not only about offering a warm meal to our four-legged friends, but also a programme to raise awareness and responsibility for responsible adoptions.
With the series ‘Stew for all Bobiță’, which was launched on February 14th 2023, we aim to bring people closer to animals and contribute to the development of a pet-friendly society, where dogs are treated as members of it.
The events are open to the general public and usually take place once a month. During them, special guests of the shelter cook with our volunteers, members of the Speranța team and all animal lovers, donors or simply visitors who pass our doorstep. In addition to preparing a tasty meal, participants interact with the dogs, offer them affection, and bring them toys to make their day.
Attendees can also promote adoptions on their social media accounts, support our work, adopt a friend for life, and if they’re not ready to take them home, they can be close to them through a long-distance adoption and sign up for our volunteer activities.
