From birth until we found him, Adi lived on a chain. It is the sad, unfair and illegal (by the way) fate of so many dogs in Romania.

For Adi (we named him after Adi de la Valcea, the county where he was brought from) the nightmare is over. It can rarely be said that a dog becomes freer and with more space at his disposal once in the shelter, but for him it’s true.

A life on a chain brings terrible and hard to correct later traumas for a poor puppy. But Adi is young and eager to leave it all behind him, so he’s entering the Messengers of Hope desensitisation programme. We are very determined to make a super dog out of him and thus help him find his future with a family of his own.
