As you already know, we believe we have truly fulfilled our mission only when the dogs that come to us are adopted and find a stable home. For this to be possible, most of them have to go through a specialised training programme. A home, a walk on city sidewalks or a play in the park – all of these can be very difficult times for dogs who have spent months or even years in the simple, repetitive routine of a shelter.
Thus the programme we call Messengers of Hope was born, a project that started out as more of an experiment but has grown into one of our organisation’s most important activities. Messengers of Hope is a programme in which a team of trainers and canine behaviour specialists work with the dogs at the Speranța Shelter to make them more adoptable and adaptable to a future home and family of their own.

Unfortunately, Gift Aid is only available for donations made to eligible UK charities. As Speranța Shelter is based in Romania, Gift Aid does not currently apply.
Speranța Shelter provides lifelong care for over 500 rescued dogs, including senior, disabled, and traumatised dogs who have nowhere else to go.
