Sponsor Tudy

Become Tudy's hero, even from afar

Tudy asks you to make an effort. If not for his sake, at least for yours. And he reminds you that a dog in the house or at least in the yard can do wonders against stress and bad emotional state in general.

Especially as you get older, a dog reduces (according to studies) work-related stress by 40%, improves your concentration and productivity, and keeps depression and anxiety at bay.

That’s pretty much what a Tudy can do in a human home. All it takes is for the person to also be inspired and welcome it in.

How your sponsorship helps Tudy

Every dog at Speranța Shelter deserves food, warmth, medical care and love, whether they find a home next month or spend many more years with us.

Dogs like Tudy often wait the longest for a home. Whether or not Tudy ever finds a forever family, your sponsorship means they never go without.

Although your sponsorship is linked to Tudy, your donation also helps us care for every dog at Speranța Shelter. Together, we make sure no rescued dog is ever left without the essentials they need.

By sponsoring Tudy, you’re helping provide:

  • Nutritious meals every day
  • Veterinary care, including check-ups, medication and treatment whenever needed
  • A safe place to live, with warm shelter during Romania's cold winters
  • Exercise, enrichment and companionship to keep them healthy and happy
  • Special care, rehabilitation or mobility support if their condition requires it

Prefer to make a one-off gift?

If you’d rather make a single contribution instead of sponsoring monthly, you can make a one-off donation to support Tudy.

Your gift will help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, shelter and everything else they need throughout the year.

Unlike monthly sponsorship, this option does not include regular updates or a dedicated sponsorship relationship with Tudy. It’s simply another meaningful way to help provide the care they deserve.

Why dogs like Tudy need sponsors

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.

Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.

Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.

Sponsorship allows dogs like Tudy to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
