Pica Yellow – an 11-year-old dog who needs you
Pica Yellow is 11 years old. She’s brown with black speckles and has a black muzzle. She’s gone through life quietly, never asking for much — but now she needs help. She’s no longer young, but she still hopes for better days.
Through long-distance adoption, you can offer Pica Yellow something she may have never truly had: safety, care, and peace. With your support, each day can be a little easier for her.

Your gift will help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, shelter and everything else they need throughout the year.
Unlike monthly sponsorship, this option does not include regular updates or a dedicated sponsorship relationship with Pica Galbena. It’s simply another meaningful way to help provide the care they deserve.
Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.
Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.
Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.
Sponsorship allows dogs like Pica Galbena to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
For more than 20 years, Speranța Shelter has been rescuing, treating and caring for abandoned dogs in Romania.
Today, more than 500 dogs rely on us every day for food, medical treatment, rehabilitation and a safe place to live while they wait for a forever home.
Every sponsorship helps us continue this work.
