We’re coming with new updates about Ștefana, and we can’t help but smile when we think of her. 💛
Ștefana has grown a bit more and has remained just as cheerful, playful, and full of energy. After her first surgery, she can move a little more easily, and this progress—even if it seems small—means a lot to her and to us.
Her journey isn’t over yet. A long recovery period and other important procedures still lie ahead. Even so, we are optimistic and confident that things will keep getting better.
Ștefana continues to surprise us with her spirit. Every day she’s up to mischief, full of life and contagious joy.
During this time, Ștefana has also gone through a small change: she has parted ways with her playmate, Contur, whom she stayed with in the shelter, as he has found a family and been adopted. We are incredibly happy for him and hope to find Ștefana a new playmate as soon as possible.
Thank you for being by her side and ours on this journey. Your support makes a difference, step by step, in giving Ștefana the chance at a life as close to normal as possible.
Stay close to Ștefana. 💛
Huge news about Ștefana: after the latest specialized investigations, it seems that she could walk again.
However, the road will not be easy at all. Poor Ștefana has to go through a series of complex and delicate procedures, in which her bones will essentially be broken and then set back into place. The entire process will take months and, due to the complexity of the interventions, it will be costly.
Ștefana has successfully gone through a first surgical intervention, and signs of slight improvement are already visible.
We know that your efforts, our efforts, and those of the specialists will be considerable. But just imagine what we could achieve together: to restore the freedom and a “normal” life to a little furry child we once thought had no chance!
Please stay with us and with Ștefana.
Ștefana has taken a very important step!
The medical tests and investigations have been completed, and we are now waiting for the doctors to interpret the results and decide the best course of action for her.
Until then, we still need your support.
How can you look away when a puppy so young, just beginning her life, is in such desperate need of help?
Ștefana is only a few months old. She was most likely born with a severe malformation affecting both of her front legs, preventing her from walking normally. An unfair start in life, painful, and almost impossible to comprehend for such a tiny soul.
She was abandoned on the streets, left behind as if her life had no value. While many passed her by, choosing not to see her suffering, kindness had not completely disappeared.
A compassionate person took her in and refused to ignore her pain. Seeing her struggle, they reached out, searching for someone who could help. It was impossible to miss the silent plea in Ștefana’s eyes. And thankfully, someone listened.
The road to a better life was long, but she made it to us. We couldn’t turn away. Ștefana is now in our care, but this is only the beginning of her journey. She still needs medical evaluations, tests, a clear diagnosis, and, we hope, treatments that can give her a life without pain.
The road ahead is long, but this time, she won’t walk it alone.
We need you.
Please help us give Ștefana the chance she never had. Your support will go toward the essential medical care she urgently needs, and toward giving her a future filled with hope.
