Greuceanu is not just a black dog with a sincere gaze. He is a little hero who went through darkness to bring light into the lives of those who saved him.
At the Suraia shelter, the “dragons” were real: people who wanted to kill him, the cold, hunger, fear. Greuceanu was just a number on a cold list.
When we came for him, nothing seemed to guarantee his survival. We took him out of that cold, silent place, and for the first time, he was seen as a being, not a number. At Speranța, his own Sun and Moon began to shine: gentle touches, a full bowl, respect. The light that the dragons had taken from him was returned.
Today, Greuceanu carries the courage and dignity of a mythological hero. His black eyes look at the world with honesty and wonder: he faced the dragons and discovered that people can be kind.
Greuceanu doesn’t just live. He lights up everything he touches, just as he once freed the Sun and the Moon in the old legends. A black dog with a big heart, reminding us that heroes exist even today.
