Cangurița has only two legs. Her back legs.
She wasn’t born this way – we don’t know what happened to her. And honestly, we do not even want to imagine it too much. We only know that she was found in a field in Ilfov County, surviving however she could, alongside another dog, also missing a leg, who was taken in by another NGO. Two fragile souls who learned to survive in a world that had given them very little.
Today, Cangurița is safe at Speranța Shelter.
It is hard to believe that Cangurița will ever truly belong to someone, although we would be incredibly happy if that happened. But the reality is that she needs specialised, long-term care, and here at Speranța Shelter we have the resources to provide it.
To begin with, Cangurița needs a special wheelchair to help her move around without pain and without injuring her body. Then come veterinary check-ups, adapted food, and above all, constant attention and care.
But beyond all of this, she needs people.
People who will get to know her. Visit her. Call her by name.
People who can give her a real chance, even from afar.
For a dog without two legs, support is the most important thing she can receive.
If you can offer it, please do.
And if you cannot, we assure you that even a simple share can work wonders.
