Sponsor Brâncuși

Become Brâncuși's hero, even from afar

Brâncuși is yet another dog rescued from Târgu Jiu who has come into the care of Adăpostul Speranța. Brâncuși’s muzzle is severely injured, most likely as the result of a powerful blow she suffered. We still cannot get close enough to handle her—she is frightened. And we understand why.

You can help her through remote sponsorship. Your support will provide her with food, the medical treatment she needs, and a safe place in the shelter. And once her physical wounds have healed, we will do everything we can to help heal her emotional scars as well.

Every donation gives Brâncuși another chance. A chance at a life without pain, without fear, and without violence.

How your sponsorship helps Brâncuși

Every dog at Speranța Shelter deserves food, warmth, medical care and love, whether they find a home next month or spend many more years with us.

Dogs like Brâncuși often wait the longest for a home. Whether or not Brâncuși ever finds a forever family, your sponsorship means they never go without.

Although your sponsorship is linked to Brâncuși, your donation also helps us care for every dog at Speranța Shelter. Together, we make sure no rescued dog is ever left without the essentials they need.

By sponsoring Brâncuși, you’re helping provide:

  • Nutritious meals every day
  • Veterinary care, including check-ups, medication and treatment whenever needed
  • A safe place to live, with warm shelter during Romania's cold winters
  • Exercise, enrichment and companionship to keep them healthy and happy
  • Special care, rehabilitation or mobility support if their condition requires it

If you’d rather make a single contribution instead of sponsoring monthly, you can make a one-off donation to support Brâncuși.

Your gift will help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, shelter and everything else they need throughout the year.

Unlike monthly sponsorship, this option does not include regular updates or a dedicated sponsorship relationship with Brâncuși. It’s simply another meaningful way to help provide the care they deserve.

Why dogs like Brâncuși need sponsors

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.

Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.

Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.

Sponsorship allows dogs like Brâncuși to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
