Sorry, just kidding, there’s no such thing as little wolves. Technically, this is Dyani and he’s a small wolf. A wolf in appearance only, of course, because behaviorally he’s the most gentle and domestic dog we’ve ever seen.
Dyani isn’t even adopted from a distance, but he wants to be very much. That’s why he came specifically into our office, with no medical condition to treat, just to ask us to tell you about him.

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.
Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.
Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.
Sponsorship allows dogs like Dyani to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
For more than 20 years, Speranța Shelter has been rescuing, treating and caring for abandoned dogs in Romania.
Today, more than 500 dogs rely on us every day for food, medical treatment, rehabilitation and a safe place to live while they wait for a forever home.
