Mihai Grizonat is 11 years old and, just like his grizzled fur, he carries experience, gentleness, and wisdom. He is a senior dog who has been through a lot but still loves people and the simple joys of life.
He lives in the shelter and needs your support for food, care, and daily comfort. Through long-distance adoption, you can become part of his life and give him a peaceful and happy senior life.

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.
Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.
Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.
Sponsorship allows dogs like Mihai Grizonat to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
For more than 20 years, Speranța Shelter has been rescuing, treating and caring for abandoned dogs in Romania.
Today, more than 500 dogs rely on us every day for food, medical treatment, rehabilitation and a safe place to live while they wait for a forever home.
Every sponsorship helps us continue this work.
